Telethon 2023 : €80,671,222: Thanks to you!
The Telethon 2023 ended on a high of €80,671,222, which shows the confidence and exceptional mobilization of donors and volunteers for this year's event, rich in victories against disease and promises for all those waiting for the diagnosis and treatment that will change their lives. We must not give up.
"Today, we can talk about lives saved, destinies changed, hopes turned into reality, and that's thanks to you! The first victories have paved the way, and we must not give up in order to give researchers the means to continue transforming their discoveries into treatments. I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the teams at France Télévisions, Sophie Davant, Nagui, Cyril Féraud and all the presenters for their commitment to our cause. A huge, huge thank you to Vianney, a sensitive, committed godfather who is so close to the families..." said Laurence Tiennot-Herment, President of AFM-Téléthon.
The France Télévisions Group, a long-standing partner of the AFM-Téléthon, is proud to have supported all the Téléthon teams, volunteers, patients and their families for this 37th edition. From the Studio du Lendit in Saint-Denis and above all from all over France - in particular the 4 ambassador towns of Caudebec-lès-Elbeuf, Clermont-l'Hérault, Gujan-Mestras and Morestel - the editorial and technical teams from France tv Studio, the presenters and journalists from France Télévisions brought incredible moments to life for all French people on the ground and in front of their screens.
With 30 hours of airtime dedicated to this muscular and sporting Telethon on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, France Télévisions is delighted to have contributed to the success of this essential fundraising campaign for medical research. The Group would also like to thank Vianney, godfather of the 2023 Telethon, for his involvement, sensitivity and generosity throughout these 2 exceptional days!
Abroad too, volunteers have been mobilized for the Telethon, from Europe to Antarctica!
Thank you all!
